‘Strive’ to Learn

Her Safety Net has partnered with the YWCA Central Maine to assist with the free YW Strive workforce training program. The first session of this new program began Jan. 9. and runs for 11 weeks. According to the YWCA:

The professional-certificate course is designed to provide participants with critical digital literacy and workforce skills while also helping them explore and refine personal strengths and goals. These skills can be used to expand employment opportunities and income earning potential. The curriculum includes the Google suite, interviewing skills, resume building, financial independence, conflict resolution, and more.
