Amina Hassan Named a 2023 Business Leader of the Year by MaineBiz

Her Safety Net is thrilled to announce that Amina Hassan, our executive director and founder, has been named a 2023 Business Leader of the Year by the statewide business news publication MaineBiz. Executives from across the state’s business community were nominated in nine different leadership categories and final selections were made by a special committee at MaineBiz.

Amina received multiple nominations and won the New Mainer Leader of the Year award for her dedicated work as an immigrant leading a community organization which makes a big impact on the lives of other new Mainers.
