April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month!

Sexual Assault Awareness Month is very important to all of us here at Her Safety Net because we are an agency focused on supporting, educating and empowering survivors of violence. Each year during the month of April, we work hard to raise awareness about the prevalence of sexual violence in our society. These education efforts are meant to help prevent sexual violence from happening in the first place and, also, to encourage those who have been victimized to get the help they need. Her Safety Net is here to help!

Community members can reach out to us online, by phone or in person, at our offices in downtown Lewiston. Her Safety Net offers services such as counseling and support groups, and connects individuals with resources in our community that allow them to heal and move on with their lives.
